Exclusive Wizarding World of Harry Potter interview with Art Director Alan Gilmore

An exclusive interview with Alan Gilmore, the art director for The Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal's Islands of Adventure. Gilmore is also the art director for two of the Harry Potter films.

Here he talks about The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, the Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey ride, J.K. Rowling and the stars of the Harry Potter films.

Gilmore was a special guest at the Entertainment Designers Forum to help raise money for the American Cancer Society's Relay For Life.

@McCracken257 they were almost all there all week and youd be really lucky to just see them around. there were too many people and they had body guards. they didnt "meet" people so it kinda sucked. but i guess it was nice to know they were within a mile from you.

@Moonpies Right right, it's supposed to be more about "look it's harry potter and I'm on a journey with him" rather than "look at how fast and how many loops this ride does!"

@geekstar9 - Of course it's the robotic arms. He is simply saying that the ride is more about the experience than the mechanism. He also can't divulge a lot of details, yet.
