The greatest thing about this is how well Tom handles it...he's just like, "Woah, my guitar isn't working? Oops!" instead of having a big freak-out like a lot of people might be inclined to do. :) Bravo for decorum in the face of technical difficulties!

also, there is a HUGE difference between melodic Punk bands and pop punk. Bad Religion, NOFX etc. have melody...bands like Blink are poppy

Descendents is the only pop punk band I listed and that would only be fair to call them that in the 80s or 90s before that genre went to shit. Descendents are Punk

@AlmostaFlipinSkater they're certainly pop punk, but so are most of the bands you listed. and there's nothing wrong with being pop punk: so are most of the original punk bands like the ramones and the sex pistols. if you wanna hear punk that isn't pop, go listen to ceremony or minor threat or something like that.

@AlmostaFlipinSkater ummm you see even though my account says punk rocker cause i made this account when I was bitchy and well an angry adolescent, Punk is stupid because it was to get away from labels, and look your labeling it. In my opinion it doesn't matter, when it comes down to the music, there lyrics are a mix of Nofx and descendants and the chord progressions are like Bad religion and screeching weasels. In my eyes there is no fucking sub genre.

I cant believe a Avenged Sevenfold fan is criticising Blink 182 when I love both bands!!!!Now I feel ashamed beeing a Avenged Sevenfold since @Avengedsevenfold502 is also a fan!!!!(BTW Avenged Sevenfold is actually a good metal band because the first CD's they did was pure screaming.Then they did half screaming and half singing and now they do singing only but they still have those metal,Metallica feeling riffs and they dont wear that make up no more,just eyeliner and they wear black or white!!

A Punk band would be a band like Bad Religion, NoFX, Anti-Flag, Flatliners, Rise Against, Pennywise, Descendents, Strike Anywhere, Black Pacific, Rancid etc.
