If the suits had decided in 1985 after Peter Cetera left the band that the smooth baritone of Robert Lamm would be the voice of Chicago going forward things would have been different, but then we would have missed out on Jason Scheff and Bill Champlin. At age 65, Robert Lamm still has the vocals.

Mr. Lamm: I really admire you....It's incredible how a person can survive and pay the bills with only 1 hit song after 36 (or more?) years!!!!!!!!! you're a wise guy!!!!! Wish I could be some day beneath the wing of a band such Chicago, in which doesn't matter if I'm a mediocre player...but the years I've been sucking the success!!!!!!!!!!
