READ -- Calgary Public Library Growing Readers PSA Series

The Calgary Public Library developed a series of commercials to promote the five behaviours essential to developing language and pre-reading skills: talking, singing, reading, writing, and playing.

Reading together is the most important thing you can do to help your child learn to read on their own, and you can read with your child anywhere. Children who are read to are more likely to want to learn to read themselves, paving the way for future reading achievement.
