Just try to realize that if you were your wife, what you would have gone through leading up to whatever point you're at now would have shaped you to act in the very same way as her right now. She is who she has become and nothing could have changed that. The question I like to ask people is "what if?" That is the destiny you live under, your circumstance, genetics, environment, ect... Just keep being yourself and try to understand it is necessary for your son and wife to be who they are as well. Try not to judge harshly, you are what you are, and so are they. It's impossible to know all of anyone else's life experiences and without that knowledge it's really hard to predict how and why they react a certain way.
