This starts out as a stupid ignorant attempt to squeeze a 2 ton "tugboat" through a junction full of roadworks and cyclists. I let it pass and just let the idiot proceed past me, even though he squeezed me, drove against the direction of traffic and clearly has no clue what is going on on the road.
He proceeds to attempt an overtake of the cyclists in front of me. But as there is no room, he squeezes into them and uses the horn to make them "go away" (where they should go, I don't know).
This is too much. It is beyond stupid. This is dangerous.
So, I slap the side of his car with my flat hand (no harm done) and calls for him to driver properly - and yes, I should not have called him names, but I was a bit agitated because he already had squeezed me and I had let it pass...
I pass him, but he then quickly chases me down, squeezes me into the curb and cuts me off (using a parked car on the road). As he is very clearly aggressive and has no problem using his car as a weapon against me, I call out to him that I have him on camera and make sure to mention the police.
It seems that this defuses the situation - as soon as he understands that I am filming him, we have a short discussion.
The bottom line is: He only pushes cyclists into the curb and use the horn at them, because they are driving on the road. If only they didn't drive on the road, he would not bully them.
Well, at least he is honest about it.
Note: As there is no cycle lane here, cyclists must use the road. It is illegal to ride on the pavement. The cyclists in front of me could not have done anything differently, legally at least.
I then make a major mistake; I drive away first - letting him drive behind me. That was extremely unpleasant. I usually make sure to drive behind poor drivers rather than in front of them.
I did not stay around long enough to hear exactly what it was that he felt I did not have permission to do - but I assume he might think that it is illegal to film peoples public mistakes. Naturally, that is not so. I can film his shitty driving any day.

Was he behind you long?

@electrictactical No, this happened about 200m from a large junction after which there is a dedicated cycle lane.
