Agreed. I do think there are some things which could be done to make it more "Roman" such as using Gregorian Chant and/or Sacred Polyphony in the entrance, offertory, communion, etc. and a traditional hymn in the recessional. In addition, the comfortable words, etc. are not really typical in the Roman Rite. The Anglican Use/Ordinariates can use Anglican Chant which is consistent with their own inheritance or sacred hymns which are so good in the Anglican repertoire.

Amen, Amen! We may hope that, as the CDF works on preparing the approved Anglican-Use liturgies for the world-wide Ordinariates, the Holy Spirit suggests to those responsible that, if we are to have an English Mass, the language should have sufficient gravitas to carry the Meaning it must in the Eucharistic Liturgy (as the Latin does); and why reinvent the wheel? The Prayer Book liturgy, now that it has been conformed to the Catholic Faith already has it, in spades.

A good dose of this would be incredible for the Ordinary Form of the Roman Rite. Why we didn't just do something similar to this after Vatican II I will never understand.

God bless this Catholic community, it's so beautiful! I love these traditional Masses- Thank God this is all now valid and in Communion with Rome yet still faithful to the ways they have worshipped before!!!

they are just playing at being Catholics and their Masses are no more valid than low Church Presbyterian ceremonies no matter how beautiful they may look, but this is beautiful! It is amazing to think that all that nice looking tradition which no matter how nice as an Anglican C of E type cermony it would be totally null and invalid but now this community has come home to Rome is is the true Mass and is nicer than a lot of low Catholic Masses in the Post Conciliar Church- it's so beautiful!

I must confess that at first I didn't realise this was a Catholic Mass of the Anglican Rite- I live in England and was brought up attending low Anglican services with my mother and High Anglican services with my Grandfather, I have seen the differences in Anglicanism. I came home to Rome when I was 13 and it makes me so happy to see that this community has come home to the Mother Church and to Papal Authority. The Anglo Catholics has some nice looking traditions but they aren't Catholic...

One thing that particularly stuck out was the reading of the Gospel. I've never seen the Priest and Altar Servers move into the Nave to read the Gospel. Indeed, in the Traditional Latin Mass they stay inside the Sanctuary and face north, while in the New Mass they stay inside the Sanctuary and face the people. Does this occur in all Anglican Masses?

Wow! I've never seen an Anglican Mass before. So much of the general acts of piety are the same as the Traditional Latin Mass in the Catholic Church (which sadly have been all but exterminated in the New Mass).

I did come back to the Catholic Church when I made a Formal Abjuration of heresy in November 2009.

What is confusing YOU ... is that the Catholic Church does not have any physical buildings to "come back to".

Those who are baptized and believe the Catholic Dogma are in the Catholic Church ... regardless of the fact that the Church has no buildings.

Go to Appendix A of Immaculata-one (dot) com ... print out items 30, 31, 33.

... bring them to your fake "priest" and him if he agrees with it.
