There are only two species of seadragons, the leafy and the weedy, and both are in this tank at the Aquarium! Like blueone said, sea dragons are related to the sea horse, and they are also related to pipefish.
These rare animals live among the kelp forests on the southern Australian coast.

they are called sea dragons because of their size and because of the way they look. And yes, they are a type of sea horse

It's a Leafy Sea Dragon. This video doesn't really do it justice-- it's probably one of the most beautiful things out there.
