  • This is rather generic.. Besides the website I would add this video to my "moving to NYC" playlist if I had one.. Probably should get one..

  • @BeanTheCoffee I guess that's all we get for free?

  • Why is it that every expertvillage video i've seen can't pass the 1:30 mark?

  • @heartlessxcxc

Nothing really. NYC and LA are just the acting capitals of the USA. It's where all the best talent agents, acting roles, and opportunities are. Think of LA as the mecca of acting, and NYC as the new mecca.

  • how come some people move to LA. some to NYC? whats the difference?

  • I'm also from Sweden and want to move to New York! :)

  • @PeaceGuruHippie That would be called Ball Room Dancing, or Ballet my friend. If you want a solid dance role in a theatre play try auditioning as an extra in a dance performance, although these roles are harder and slimmer to come by. good luck and peace out!

  • if you're a guy keep pressing 1 while watching the video.listen and watch carefully.it's like she says harder ;]

  • I am a 16 year old actress and this I'll be heading off to college soon. should I maybe go to college in NYC so ill be close to all the auditions or should i wait till after college?

  • Moving to New York is difficult. Gene Hackman, Robert Duvall and Dustin Hoffman all worked as movers in New York City. And that is what I did. I got a job working for a New York City Man with a Van VanStand Vandstandcom and it has. worked for me. They have a great reputation so they get me plenty of work moving around the five boroughs mostly Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens. Anyway you had good advice for moving to New York. I hope my work as an honest man with a van mover pays off!
