Funny, after deciding that, with all due respect to Lacuna Coil and the fact they are free to take their music whichever way they choose, Shallow Life just isn't my cup of tee (Unleashed Memories and In A Reverie remain my favourite works) and with thinking that my Linkin Park liking days (yes I would agree about feeling a slight similarity here) belong to the very distant past, I find myself enjoying this song:). Far from being among the best of LC, I find it pleasantly catchy and uplifting.

@dejnio91 What LC did on this album was emulate LPs hybrid theory guitar riffs. I fuckin love that personally cause LP blows now IMO that they abandoned the style they created. I love Scabbias voice for LC but she cant do chester justice in a LP emulation...only the singing....not the screaming....and homeboy couldnt scream his way out a paper sack.......Now the chick from In This Moment? Best chick metal screamer ever. Could do this style better then LP could have.

@SPQR0891 You shouldn't care what it sounds like on another band. This is in the gothic-metal section of music. It is good and thats great, if another sounds similar, well let it. Cause in your opinion this is the better, and that should be the only thing that matters. Just sit back and enjoy this album.
