U2 "40" mess up

The Edge is playing in a different key to Adam and Bono, if you look you can see that Adam has realised it from the very start before Bono starts singing, Bono then makes it worse by trying to sing in the key Edge is playing before stopping and having to restart the song,, please post a comment and thanks for watching

I love how Bono goes to check on Adam, as if Adam's too stupid to work it out by himself, LOL. As if he hadn't already figured it out. And also considering how badly Bono plays guitar himself! It's a funny clip, I have the boot somewhere at home.

@Swissbanker77 Bono was totally outta key. The bass line doesnt change when they stop and restart the song. And the guitar isnt doing any chords. Adam is using a technique to get the guitar to feed back using the A string.

I think he's playing in the wrong key and Bono is singing in the "right" key over what Adam is playing. Hence the dissonance

I get that 40 is being sung in the wrong key. But how is this Edge's fault? The bass sounds the same as all the other versions of 40 to me. Can someone please explain to me what's going on?
