PLEASE HELP!!! Just subscribe to my channel watch the videos and get others to do the same. Research is very expensive and time consuming. Just the basic equipment costs thousands of dollars. Please SHARE THIS LINK and subscribe and ask others to as well. I am getting ready to hit the icy-cold water again to track the babies. Any information on the movement of these little guys could save days or weeks of searching and the increasing populartiy of the film might attract a MUCH NEEDED SPONSOR. Surprisingly little is known about their life. Place comments with any information and help spread the word. Let's see how fast "citizen science" can answer questions with facts. -- Early release version of the 2010 footage. Got some great footage this year despite many setbacks - hope everyone enjoys it. If you are an eduational/research organization and are interested in any of the raw footage from this or any other film, contact me and I will provide first run footage for your educational or reaserch endeavours. fifthlifeproductions@yahoo.com

  • IIshould note though that the chaos first time through was normal speed. they just go nuts

  • thanks iceman. i will put an overlay on the next version noting the speed increase.

  • Great. Thanks for the info. This was in the Puge Sound near Coupeville. There are numerous beaches in the northwest where the spawn pits from this vigorous spawning have been documented. There is another video called "Wiggly Fish" that was shot by a couple in BC.

  • PLEASE JOIN THE PROJECT - All I'm asking for is your eyes. Help me search. PLEASE Share this link with EVERYONE you know.... if you enjoy the ocean or the excitement of discovery please ask everyone to post comments here about their discoveries and post video responses if they would like to share their films. Surprisingly little is known about these fish. Let's show the world how fast "citizen science" can ANSWER QUESTIONS WITH FACTS.

  • great job capturing the activity, when you show some of the clips a second time they're sped up, maybe you should mention they aren't real-time? Otherwise great job.
