The best recreation of a Regency Ball !Amazingly filmed, soooo beautiful ! Kate Winslet is a lovely Marianne, and Emma Thompson the best Elinor ever !
-
thanks a lot, I just finished the book a few hours ago! Yes!

yeah, I saw it too, but I had forgotten! BTW, Emma's commentary is interesting. When she talks of Greg Wise and kate Winslet for example lol (even if I can't understand how she could left Kenneth!)

Elinor's expression on her face says it all in this scene: "i really don't want to dance with you.......but I am going to anyway." LOl.....Although it is not Edward, she composes herself quite nicely in this scene.

how horribly dashing and "beau" is Robert!! poor Elinor..Imagine if she had danced with Edward! If only...lol anyway I love the music and the dance itself is so sweet and funny!

Emma Thompson's sister Sophie is married to Robert Ferrars (Richard Lumsden) in real life. I just found that out from Emma's commentary. LOl.Ya learn something new every day.
