Governor Chris Christie held a town hall meeting today in Flemington to outline his reform agenda. The Christie Reform agenda targets ethics reform that encourages accountability and results; pension and benefits reform by overhauling the pension and benefits system which is on the brink of insolvency; education reform that according to the Governor is failing too many of New Jersey's children; and economic development initiatives that will create paying jobs and making New Jersey a home for growth.

  • @jkowalcyk Go to your City or Town Hall and ask for the percentage allocated for school supplies and the amount allocated for salaries and benefits. The workers at Town Hall are public union employees so you will get a hard time getting the info.

Ask what perecentage of teacher's paychecks does the taxpayer pay towards the teacher pensions.

In private companies the employer pays 5% and employee pays 5% toward SS.

Here, taxpayers contribute 20% of teacher's pay toward thier pensions!

  • @cutwagman Where did you find those statistics? LOL. Anyways, be careful what you wish for. Judging by your analytical skills (more like lack of), there are plenty of people in public education who would easily take your position within the private sector--if not become your boss ;)

  • @Rickey85 You aren't white trash? Well what gives you the right to say teachers are over paid? Maybe soldiers are overpaid (sarcasm). Do you know that the number one reason people DON'T go into teaching is because of the salary? That's like saying you joined the military to make a lot of money. Your statistics are completely absurd BTW. My father was a Marine and my closest cousin is currently overseas, so don't try and make my comment into something it's not.

  • @jkowalcyk I'm not white trash , Teachers are over paid ,and you're a fucking piece of shit. Your calling a soldier that fought for his country white trash ? Then fuck you cock sucker

  • @Rickey85 You're white trash.
