It's on Farris Rd in Colonial Heights, VA.

I am from Chesterfield and know about the ark. Solid engineering. I still say if the 2nd flood comes I am heading to Colonial Heights and boarding that ark.

Thank you so much for posting this!!! I love the ark by the way! It is so interesting. I interviewed the man who built it. Apparently he was in Vietnam and has a metal plate in his head...hence all the paranoia about the 2nd flood.

& yes theres a bomb shelter, this is coming from a man who fought in war, cant blame him. He even built the house we live in, hes just a handy self made man, talented. The bomb shelter collapsed in anyways.

@cak213 LOL I used to drive by the ark when I got bored back in the day. It's not hard to find....if it's still there (haven't driven by in a few years), but it should be a few streets behind where the Walgreens or CVS is (so many in CH now i can't remember what that particular one is called) at boulevard and Ellerslie. God, i remember when that corner was a produce market. My mom used to take me there to buy pumpkins for Halloween. Sad how shit gets built up....

My Grandmother lives just on the other side of the tracks from this. I drove past this countless times and never knew it was there.
