  • i would love to be a herpatoligist. just one problem. the only "reptile" native to were i live is a spider or mosquito >.< lol, also, are there any universities in Canada?

  • @flyleafrules93 University of Calgary and University of Guelph :) !

  • I find it better to have on hand experience than formal education. Then again, I have no formal education.

  • @FlameSpartan Both is fantastic! But if people want a job in herpetology they usually need a degree :)

  • HERP A DERP

  • Thanks bellaboy44, In the early seventies I was sure that I wanted to be a herpetologist. I could cite chapter and verse on nearly any reptile species or amphibians. Alas, however, I found this area of study to be too narrow and my interests just too broad.(Even though I was only about 11-12 at the time!). Still, thank you for posting this. It took me back to my childhood when I had iguanas, all other manner of lizards, snakes, toads, frogs, you name it. Blessings upon you.

  • Thanks for this video it helps a lot. I'm trying to figure out what college I'm going to go to for Herpetology

  • Thank you soooo muich for making this video!

  • A degree in Wildlife Biology is what most employers are looking for. I'm studying both Nursing and Biology at the University of Louisville.
