@koko331 Makwerekwere is an insulting song displaying a great deal of ignorance. Nuff said. Basically for the benefit of koko331 and stevemak93, this song became a hit in Zimbabwe not only because it is a good song. I suspect Marimbaking007 is Zimbabwean because he extracted the phrase that made it popular in the clubs. In our language what that phrase means is Gentlemen handle yours, but in the crudest manner you that imagine. Can't say more than that, sorry.

@stevemak93 Not really sure. What I heard, was that it was about a man trying to find a job in a difficult world, or something hence the chorus "Trying to make a living".

Come to think of it, this could've been Arthur's first attempt at d'Gong, (Kwaito/Dancehall Reggae) which was Kwaito's early sub-genre at the time!
