haha that "simple song" is the march in their MSR which is what Reid and the corps is practicing here....

The pipers are practicing Highland Wedding, the 2/4 from one of their MSRs. Then they are playing Green Hills, which most bands (even the top bands) use to tune up the pipes. It was a tough day for tuning, in the rain, so you can bet the pipers will be playing simple tunes trying to get every note tuned exactly.

yeah sure, I guess the other ones were worlds 1999 and 2004 right? pretty impressive and always very musical in my opinion! the video description here refers to my other sfu videos from worlds 08 where you actually see the Sash - check them out...
