I saw this concert when I was about 13 yo. I was amazed! I love vocal music and started saving my lunch money to buy jazz albums! Excellent version of a modern jazz standart!

Haha, I could wet myself reading the comments on this fantastic number (composition by Joe Zawinul with Weather Report in 1977 if you wanted to know). Yeah I also like to give the fool here :P so keep on speculating what would kill Bird if he were alive today. Probably the bums of today ;)

I don't see why people would see this as bad music. Which part of the show is a disaster? That should be a matter of taste but The Manhattan Transfer has flawless harmonies and they sound brilliant live as they sound great in the recording... something artists these days completely lack.
