I heard they gonna make another arc of the manga in anime very soon. There are some rummors and references in the ps2 game and in some pages in the manga wich contains animated parts of "Skull knight talking to some "struggler" i dont read the manga so i dont know who the fuck they are and im not wiki it...i hate spoilers...

No, Guts does not die. Though you won't see how he survives in the anime (obviously), but if you read the manga he and Caska are saved by a mysterious warrior named Skullknight.
