Such a shame... Since Issey stepped down as designer the design has become so overburdened with the extraneous - the materials are still interesting and innovative, but virtually 100 of the elan that was Issey has been lost and replaced by... What, hack "creativity" ? Miyake himself was revolutionary cause his pieces just "were" - they stood as pieces of art, truly inspired, beyond good and evil as it were- challenging, provocative, divinely simple yet with huge implications... Sad, really
