This video is for FFVIII fans who perhaps feel that Spoonyone had a point about FFVIII when they watched his review.

This video maintains that there is nothing wrong with FFVIII and goes through Spoonyone's criticisms one by one exposing them as either wrong or non-criticisms.

I will request this to be a video response to spoony's original video, but I doubt he wants anyone to see this.

  • You do know that the point of the "review" was to make it funny to put it bluntly right? he makes fun of it for comedic purposes, like when he makes fun of Final Fantasy 1 in reality he really likes that game.

  • @BlackBerserkgasme "This video is for FFVIII fans who perhaps feel that Spoonyone had a point about FFVIII when they watched his review."

The actual deontological intentions of spoony are not that interesting to me. If he likes ff8 or not, doesn't really matter.

  • Im replaying ff8 for the first time in almost 8 years so I'll have to pay attention to all that the one I can explain away from memory of it being explained is the moombas the elder in that village tell u that they can sense a connection between ppl this is made even more apparent when u do talk to laguna for the first time and he makes the statement I could actually feel the link and u guy giving us strength. But I'll have to keep an eye out for the rest of that stuff I like the theory though

  • @anthony555100 Ah man, I'm so jealous that you get to replay the game. I replayed it recently, gripped me just like it did the first time - then I made this video.

Anyway it is never explicitly stated in the game that squall is laguna's son but once you have all the evidence from the theory stacked up it is pretty much beyond all doubt, not only this but the story suddenly makes a lot more sense. 99.9% recurring certainty that this theory is true.

I missed it first time through too, btw.

  • @anthony555100 final fantasy wikia is the biggest source of ff knowledge out there and it will tell you all about this theory and how it is clearly true. I suggest 1) replay the game looking for clues an interpreting things in this new fashion 2) finish the game 3) read the wikia

how you can think that the momba's connection between squall and laguna is anything but genetic i do not know, by the way. - I guess i know more clues to the theory than you do.

  • How did anyone get a father son relationship out of this game the closes anyone gets to that is laguna and elone who was going to be lagunas step-daughter squall was a war orphan the reason elone can link them is because her powers let her link someone she knows to someone else she knows past laguna is not related to squall at all

  • @anthony555100 Hey man,

I think you'll be intrigued to find out why I claim 'Squall is Laguna and Raine's son'. Firstly take a wonder around Winhill with squall after the 2nd disc.

Secondly talk to Kiros/Laguna in the Ragnarok after they join you.

    Thirdly play cards with Laguna

Fourthy remember Ellone tells you Raine died after childbirth and had a baby boy

Finally remember the moobas call Squall "Laguna! Laguna!" after cleaning his wounds. (Remember Laguna helped the moombas)

  • @BlackBerserkgasme The reason I said that he turns on fans is mainly when he said anybody who liked FF9 was a furry, because the main character had a tail, and most of the party was non-human, I'd hate to know how he feels about people who liked beauty and the beast.

Here's a little tip though for anybody who wants to go into reviewing, never insult the fans of a product, you can insult the creators all you want, just avoid the fans and say that they deserved better than what they got.

  • @BlackBerserkgasme I've seen his commentaries, so yes, I get that his persona is supposed to be fictional, which is one of the dumbest things anybody has ever done, as I can guarantee you that the most interesting videos somebody can do is simply sitting down as themselves, and giving their honest thoughts and feelings about something.

Incidentally, even if it is all fictional, that doesn't mean you can say whatever you want and expect to get no negative feedback.

  • @lich109 What do you mean he turned on the fans? he never said he liked it to begin with XD and you still dont seem to get the fact that his show and his persona is fictional, its not his real oppinion or his real attitude its all for show.

  • @BlackBerserkgasme Oh I can take a joke, when there is actually a joke, and I used to like spoony's stuff, what I can't take is when people make up lies and try to pass them off as facts.

I'm not even that big a FF fan, I like the games because I see them as decent games with each exploring a different world, characters, and theme. I think the thing that really made me hate spoony though, was when he took one look at a product, and turned on the fans of the product (see FF 9).

  • @lich109 I guess you could call it that, its just too bad you final fantasy fans can't seem to take a joke XD

  • @BlackBerserkgasme Then it isn't a review, it is trolling, fitting as that is all he does.

  • Sits with popcorn and watches fanboys rant.

  • Thank you for the video what most final fantasy fan boys don't get is it's a love story and a coming of age tale about a boy who falls in love and becomes a man! What FF8 was meant to say is we're not kids anymore time to face your fears! Fall in love and become a man! ff7 is overrated cloud acts like a emo asshole! Plus the ending sucked! Ff6 and Ff8 the best RPGs ever!
