Sorry but I don't agree. Touchdown was good and soft, but you are way too low on your approach. Evidence: The PAPI showed all the time 4 red lights and the time between the call-outs was long which means you had a smal rate of descent. Improve this and you will become a great fsx-pilot!

i didnt follow the PAPI coz i want a smooth approach/landing...i think is better than 50,40,30,20..10...5

@AirbusFanatics pilots dont have a style of a dangerously low landing. you flared throughout the approach and in a lot of airports, there would be trees, buildings motorways etc. you should be at least at 50 ft when over the thresh hold of the runway, not even before you pass over the runway. you was pitching up about 10 degrees which is way too high anyway let alone in an a340. doing a smooth landing doesnt mean flying way too low, it means the correct speed and subtle flare,3-5 degrees.

@AirbusFanatics yeah the vertical path was not right....try landing at airports with high rise buildings around them..then u will learn the proper approach using correct PAPI configuration else u crash into the buildings..u can try Kai tak or even the TNCM addon ...jst kip descending and only flare at retard level wen u pull throttles to idle at the same tym..that will be a smooth landing...at least its wat i do.i usually get around 50 to 120ft/min touchdowns...depending on weather. nyc vid tho.
