A track from Orlando's second release, the Magic E.P. released in 1996. The video was directed by Pet Shop Boys photographer and director Eric Watson at Christ's Hospital school, from an idea by Dickon and Tim to pastiche their favourite public school movies (If, Another Country, Dead Poets Society).
It cost £30,000 and was only shown once, for twenty seconds, on Channel 4's Big Breakfast.

  • I vaguely remember this band getting a fair amount of press in the Melody maker in the late 90's, but until now I'd never heard any of their music. . Its ok but nothing special , having said that it preferable to alot of indie bands that were around at the time like Northern Uproar, Hurricane #1 etc. I give it 6 out of 10.

  • @rickypules Brilliant.

  • Woa! This is my school!

  • Though we're not wearing your incredible uniforms, of course.

Looking at your username... you wouldn't happen to be Josh, by any chance?

  • Feeling like a bit of a geek but it was the Orlando cover of Acetone by Kenickie, last song on the album At The Club...also on Sillex EP.

  • I loved Orlando. The album, Passive Soul, was A-MAZ-ING. They deserved to be international superstars and TC has a great voice. I have PS on my i-Phone, and I shuffle a lot and it's always a joy when it picks some Orlando tune.

  • Aweee, Orlando and Club V!

  • He really can sing!

  • LOL...my school too...of course thats Josh Bell....that username...

  • I would indeed! Lol.
