Happy Birthday John !!!

@themanwhoknows If you knew anything about the recording, you fool, you'd know that the song as originally performed is entirely in rhythm, and the drums are a standout feature of the whole. You'd know that the only element in that clip that was actually recorded was the lead vocal. And you'd know that the messed up sound, redundantly double-tracked vocal, and outdated-even-by-1970 set & go-go dancers are all thanks to Top of the Pops -- NOTHING to do with the original performance or recording.

Alan White is the drummer; Klaus Voormann is the bass player. Anyone know who the guy with the tambourine is?

Mark Chapman is a bastard who is going to burn in hell for what he did!

The drummer is Alan White, considered by intelligent individuals to be quite talented and versatile (or so he went on to show). Admittedly, this is a relatively simple backbeat. Eternal damnation, sir, should be yours, for your unwarranted spite.
