This is an example video on how ATI video cards (HD4890 and Catalyst 9.4) fail to create the effect you see in NVIDIA cards when in the game Crysis the suit is in "MAXIMUM STRENGTH" mode.

  • i have a x1950xt. Which i know is such an old card, but i seem to get the effects on the suit perfectly fine, when i turn the res down to 800x600 i can play on maximum settings whith the custom map amazonia river..still very laggy, but i still get the effects. Must be due to the newer cards

  • This was an issue with older drivers, 9.9 and above have corrected the issue.

  • It *seems* that Windows 7 and WHQL drivers for it solve this issue. Game starts out fine, but then it goes like this. Odd.

  • Correct.

  • Well this is due to the fact crysis was optimized for nvidia not ati so it is actually due to coding.
