This commercial would have been great decades ago. I'm a senior in college and I don't even think this applied when I was in middle or high school. Everyone already knew that technology, math, and science came from the smart kids.

This commercial makes it sound like the 1950s. Geeks in math and science clubs being made fun of by the football team. When I was in high school, half of the AP bio and AP calc class was the soccer and basketball team.

This is a TERRIBLE ad - in a modern age where intelligence and academic proficiency are merely a facet of a complex, dynamic individual, this ad sets the world back decades by stigmatizing and resurrecting the geek stereotype

Guess what? Lots of intelligent people also play sport, go clubbing, do drugs, drink and get laid. This ad is pathetic and sad

I find this offensive, just because somebody likes math and science they have to look like a socially awkward person with no fashion sense? Pshh, I'm fabulous.

The PSA offensively supports stereotypes of math/engineering students as outcasts while at the end having each kid proudly state "you'll be working for me."

The geek now goes much farther than school. Geeks and nerds spend their life learning and working on math, science, tech or whatever "nerdy" thing they like. Nerds don't do it for the grade, nerds do it because they have a genuine interest and that's what they want to do with their lives.
