This video explores the idea of real FLOWER POWER!

John 19:41, "Now in the place where He was crucified there was A GARDEN..."

Your heart is like a garden, & faith in Jesus makes it a VICTORY GARDEN. 1John 5:4 states, "This is the victory that overcomes the world, [even] our faith." So let faith arise, & your heart can be GOD"S GARDEN.

The Garden of Eden contained The Tree of Life, (Gen 2:9,) which became a Tree of Death in another garden, Golgotha, (John 19:17;) however, this Tree of Death was transformed into the Tree of Life thru the Resurrection of Christ, "Mediator of the New Covenant," (Hebrews 2:24.) Heb 11:6 reveals, "But without faith [it is] impossible to please God." Faith validates the New Covenant for every individual.

In God's Garden, One Seed died, Jesus Christ, that others may live. He died for us that we may live for Him. Romans 5:19, " For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of One shall many be made righteous." Acts 26:23 says, "Christ would suffer & as the First to rise from the dead, would proclaim light to His own people & to the Gentiles."

As true believers we die daily. Galatians 2:2, "I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ lives in me: & the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, & gave Himself for me."

We are special to the Godhead. "God created man in His own image," Gen 1:27. God is faithful toward His creation, "As long as the earth endures, seed time & harvest, cold & heat, summer & winter, day & night will never cease." Gen 8:22.

A floral climax of annuals and perennials herald Spring. Tender flowers arise. Birds, butterflies, insects & human beings reap the benefit! Genesis 1:12, "The land produced vegetation: plants bearing seed according to their kinds & trees bearing fruit with seed in it according to their kinds. And God saw that it was good. "

Disease affects all life, even vegetation, but like a good doctor, a gardener tends to the health of his plants. Psalm 121: 3 "He that keeps you will not slumber." The gardener fights disease, he doesn't cause it. John 10:10, "The thief comes only to steal & kill & destroy; I have come that they may have life, & have it to the full."

While sun, rain & soil nourish the garden only God can increase the yield. Only He can provide the increase! 2 Corinthians 9:10 says, "Now He who supplies seed to the sower & bread for food will also supply & INCREASE your store of seed & will enlarge the harvest of your righteousness." Without God's blessing "we labor in vain" Psalm 127:1. Matthew 7:7 "Ask & it will be given to you..."

A garden is a sanctuary providing beauty & provision. Ephesians 2:14, "He is our peace." Gen 1:22, "God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful, & multiply." Again, John 15:8, " Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit." Also, John 15:5, "I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in Me & I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from Me you can do nothing."

Jesus spent His last earthly day praying in a garden. John 18:1, "When Jesus had spoken these words, He went forth with His disciples over the brook Cedron, where was a garden."

God made the first man, Adam, a gardener, but his descendants invented "new" professions, like terrorists & mercenaries. I advocate MORE TILLING, LESS KILLING! It is enough that Jesus died for mankind, that should settle our differences!

Home gardening has become increasingly popular, yet a "plot" in "God's Heavenly Garden" thru faith in Christ is available to everyone.

Remember, we reap what we sow . Sow forgiveness, reap forgiveness. Mar 11:26 But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses. Also, His Word is like seed sown in our heart which yields an abundant crop when we abide in Him. Jesus is the Master Gardener. He prunes every branch in Him to make it even more fruitful! (John 15)

Fear, bitterness and unbelief can hinder your fruitfulness, but 2 Timothy 1:7, says, "God has not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, & of love, & of a sound mind." So grow where you are planted!
----------------------------------------
The music tract reflects the diversity of a bountiful garden. Artists are Jason Upton, a contemporary songwriter & worship leader; Sarah Brightman and Andre Bocelli, famed opera singers; Vivaldi, a popular classical composer, IE., "Four Seasons;" and Shiela B. Devotion, a 70's pop star performing a disco remix of "Singing In The Rain."

May the images in this art film carry you to a place void of fear and worry. You have nothing to fear in the Gardener's care! Call on Jesus, invite Him into your heart, & He will make you a "new garden " (2 Corinthians 5:17,) a VICTORY GARDEN! (Romans 10: 9-10.) Now that is real "FLOWER POWER!"

So, Let Faith Arise!

  • Adam wanted more than Edon had permission to grant, the knowledge of good & evil. He succeeded to gain this knowledge, but failed thru his disobedience. The cost was God's dream, fellowship with man. The Gospel is the anecdote for the failure of success. The Cross was the price of failure. Jesus paid for Adam's failure on the Cross so He could restore fellowship betwen God & man. So then, Adams' "success" at sin was our failure, but Jesus' "failure" at sin was our success in righteousness.

  • Plants are my passion, just like astronomy is yours. Oz, you are a unique creature!Your videos are informative but slanted toward atheism. I thought if you could "take a walk thru my garden' YOU WOULD SEE THE HAND OF THE ARTIST WHO WE CALL CREATOR. Besides, I know nothing about Relativity.

  • I am an ELCA Lutheran from South Carolina. I play the piano and organ. Today (Mar. 22), we closed the service with There in God's Garden. It is #342 in Evangelical Lutheran Worship. It was written by Kiraly Imre von Pecselyi and translated by Erik Routley. It is set to the tune, SHADES MOUNTAIN, composed by K. Lee Scott. Just thought I'd share.

  • I love this....it is so clever, and I love the message.....nice job!~
