how could blizz make WoW instead of Warcraft IV? WhY?

It's the sad fate of Warcraft. They didn't have any major lore setup for WCI, because they didn't know if it was going to take off. They did it better in WCII and BtDP, made even more progression during WCIII and TFT. The books came out and helped fill in the major gaps. But WoW has really messed things up. Chris has had to retcon a LOT of story points to make it fit WoW, instead of what he should have and made WoW fit WC. We won't get a WCIV, and if we did, a lot of us wouldn't like it.

@kbd668 What does it being p2p have to do with anything? I played WoW for 5 1/2 years and am now paying for ToR, which is even more expensive. And SC2's lore doesnt even follow what Brood War was putting out for a new game. Get a better argument and come back.

Yes - this soundtrack has been "remastered" to Echoes of the Past.
