http://twitter.com/nixiepixel This video is not for the feint of heart. Mostly because the Ubuntu team is filled with just that; dedication, sense of community and heart for the main mission to provide its estimated 10 million users with free and open source software and operating systems. Canonical is here at CES for the first time ever, and Jon takes me around their booth to show me how far Ubuntu has come in 8 years.

The question is, if wasn't looking at him because she liked him... HOW would she look at someone she likes?

LOL, her eyes were all over him!!!

  • Maybe somebody already said this, but at 0:42 it looks like an Apple Store, only better.

  • @cmardle07 Open source software has not failed, quite the opposite. YouTube for example is hosted on servers running open source operating systems and software. Google reportedly runs on an open source derivative of Ubuntu. Firefox is one of the most popular and used browsers in the market. A lot of software that you actually see in the market is actually based on open source software. Whether you like it or not, open source software has created competition and thus helped innovate software.

  • @marcmg42 there are a lot! all PCs can run Linux/Ubuntu!

  • If there is an answer to this it would be greatly appreciated. But how can I have my Operating system installed on one of my drives and have all my games installed on my other drive.

You see it goes like this, I want my OS installed on the C: and my games installed on my D:. But when I install my games, it installs it in the Wine folder in my homefolder. I want to keep these two separated so when I have to reinstall my OS, I won't have to back my stuff up.

Cheers and thank you for any help ^_^

  • He mentioned a PC designed for Ubuntu. Where can I get one of those?

  • @DrEvilCop

I Agree But Bluray playing still doesent work because of most BD's are Copy Protected

  • @Yogi2k10

Linux is great for everything except gaming. And that is the gaming industry's fault, not Linux's.

  • HUH!

  • She Never Mention that you can't game under Ubuntu (try BF3 and you see) or Native Bluray laying I used Ubuntu for about a year and after Unity showed up and still the lack of Bluray support made me change back to windows... but If you dont Game and bluray is nothing for you Ubuntu is Nice & fast for Browsing the Internet and email / Instant Messaging etc
