  • Check the verb tenses - the adultery mentioned is present continuous. Remarriage while a former spouse is living is adultery. Paul said - let her remain single or be reconciled to her husband. True repentance involves stopping/turning away from the sin. Obedience is not legalism. The first 300 years of church history confirm that the early church taught that marriage is for life. God will give you grace to live a holy life if you cry out to him sincerely in Jesus name! My prayers are for you.

  • My friends, the second marriage is not recognized by God so there would be no divorce. If you get divorced, except for the cause of fornication, then only the innocent party can remarry.
