This video is a very brief response to another YouTube users video. It is both a response and a positive presentation on what I believe about this question. I didn't get to most of what I actually wanted to get to on the subject but I tried to cover the major highlights. Based on what questions and reactions I might get I may do a PART 2 in order to deal with the other evidences I did not have time to get to.

  • I appreciate your comments, lodown31. I hope to respond soon..

I would however like to address what you said at 1:44 about my "explicitly states" comment:

    ■ That is part of standard challenge I make during debate, to compel one to FIRST address what the text DOES or DOES NOT say. In my opinion, MOST ISSUES on doctrine and practice start here.

    ■ Along with this, I ALSO ask for the passages "which collectively show the only reasonable conclusion to be drawn" is said claim.

  • I look forward to your response... I could have offered more arguments but time was against me. Let me know when you've finished the response.

  • Does the scripture say G-d said or Paul said?

  • Paul said via the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. That's standard Christian doctrine 101. What is your point?

  • thats one of the reasons why i dont go to church too many people are just the same as the people in the world. Another reason is the fact they dont preach the full word of God. They have people remarrying after a divorce when the bible forbids remarriage unless one of the partners are dead (nolonger among the land of the living)

  • You should be going to church! If you can't find a good one, pray about starting one. Start a Bible study, do something. I am not your final judge but if we are not to forsake fellowship. Plus, you never know what kinds of positive influences you may have.

  • Jesus did miracles on the Sabbath. does this mean that we should only do miracles on the Sabbath. One person's preference (Paul's) does not constitute biblical law! Why else would Paul say (in every transliteration) "I do not allow. . . " He's saying his PREFERENCE not a commandment. Just like he did in Corinthians about marriage, and Jesus did about marriage.

  • You are absoluetly right on this issue. I am a woman and God actually led me to write on thsi very subject. In a coed open church a woman is NOT to be in authority obver men, One thng I have noticed is women that hold such positions ALWAYS seem to have short cropped hair. Just something I noticed.

  • Fantastic Video! I agree 100%. When the scripture is plain-spoken on an issue, we do not need to add personal interpretation. Also, you are totally right on about the slippery slope we go down with that verse in Galatians. Thanks for just reading the bible and letting the word stand. God Bless You!

  • excellent. Spirit led.

  • women should not be pastors.......... 11A woman should learn in quietness and full submission. 12I do not permit a woman to teach or to have authority over a man; she must be silent.

    -1 Timothy 2:11-12

  • Thanks for doing a great job in handling this issue from the word. May God bless you as you seek and serve him with all your heart.
