I visited the OKC National Memorial and Museum, which honors those affected by the April 19, 1995 bombing of the Alfred P. Murrah I visited the OKC National Memorial and Museum, which honors those affected by the April 19, 1995 bombing of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building ,and recorded some of what I saw so I can share it with you. I'm unable to describe it with words.
Includes:
The Fence with tokens of rememberance and hope.
Reflecting Pool and Gates of Time
Field of Empty Chairs
Survivor Tree
Children's Area

Unfortuneately, I made a typing error in the very beginning of the film. It says April 15, 1995. I am trying to take the vid down and repost without the mistake, but am having issues with the computer at the moment. Hopefully it will be resolved soon!

  • There was an error, and I had to delete and repost this video. I posted the comments from fycanibal and xRemx. I don't know why it says "marked as spam." I just copied and pasted them. My computer is having issues with youtube...or something :P

The memorial is a very powerful place. I will never forget that day and knowing people that it affected forever. Very nice footage showing the entire area and aspects of the memorial.

i really wonder...if those people knew (the men who crashed the planes) how many people that event would kill , and the suffering which would be thereafter....i wonder if they would of still gone through with it....that event and the subsequent has damaged all of us......

  • Beautifully done.

  • Thanks so much and for the message too!

  • Great footage hun. You have a real eye for this.

  • It was so inspiring to be there...I'm still thinking about all of it. Putting it all together in video format helps. It's a great creative/emotional outlet. It's really too much to take in. I think I would be bawling for ever if I let myself really sit there and absorb it all for too long...if that makes some sense. Thank you :>

  • As a Oklahoma City resident I was very impressed with your presnetation. It was sweet, reflectful and beautiful. I can still remember feeling the walls of my house shake that fateful day 13 years ago. I have still yet to truly walk around the memorial, it's still too raw for me, and I lost noone. After watching your video I feel that maybe I can now. Anyway, thank you, from the bottom of my heart.

  • I stopped by last week on the way back to Arizona from Chicago. It is really an impressive memorial...

  • Beautiful job!

  • we go there every year i live in Shawnee so im pretty close.

  • I agree. I made my home at Regency Towers at 5th and Hudson on that day. My twin son Justin was in the 2nd floor daycare center when the bombing happened. His twin brother Jake survived because he was home with me sick, and I was off work.

  • I wasn't born yet, but my brother, Joshua, was going there that day (before the bombing) and he just felt that God didn't want him to go for some reason. Because of the bombing

  • I hate my birthday... It's april 15!! It's the day this bombing happened, it's the day abraham lincon was assanated, it's TAX DAY!! Napolean and the french attacked mexico on that day! My last name means WAR in spanish! (guerra). Everything about me is bad.

  • i miss u all even though i never saw or met u.
