    According to Tony Atlas (who admitted he was close friends with him), Murdoch was in fact a member of the KKK, but he had a different outlook on things rather than simply hating other races. He had no problem with them, but frowned upon things such as interracial relationships and mixed children. An ignorant mindset either way you look at it, though.
