RuneScape [Sailing Skill] Proof That It's FAKE

THE NEW SKILL IS DUNGEONEERING, NOT EVEN CLOSE TO SAILING! GOOD FIGHT, SAILING-NOOBS! I KNOW YOU CLAIMED TO HAVE SEEN AN ICON THAT WAS NEVER THERE, GOOD JOB ON MAKING YOURSELVES LOOK LIKE FOOLS NOW! Also thanks for all offensive comments you all posted, but now I have the last laugh!

NOTE: A JaGeX Moderator has confirmed that the Sailing skill (aswell as other "new" skills) are FAKE.

Other videos about the sailing icon on the Hiscores page are FAKE. Yes, indeed the icon is "taken off" the page, but if it was, it wouldn't be taken off the website's files...

I made this video quick, to show that all videos about a new Sailing skill on RuneScape are FAKE.

How to do what I did in this video:
1) Go to the RuneScape homepage
2) Go to Community, Hiscores
3) Rightclick the icon next to "Overall Hiscores"
4) Click on "Properties"
5) Copy the url* of the icon
6) Open that url* in your browser
7) You now see the icon
8) If you change the word "overall" in the url, to any other skill you want, you get to see thatb skill's icon
9) If you type sailing/sail/sailor, you only get to see an error message

*The "url" is:
http://www.runescape.com/img/hiscores/skill_icon_overall1.gif

sailing = bullshit , worthless "skill"

i never heard about it, just now when i see these noob vids .. you can easily change the runescape hiscore page , by using its html code & add an own icon to it... taking screenshots of it & W0W omfg , jagex made a sailing skill -> NOT

When you're at hiscore page -> rightclick -> source , save it .. open with notepad & start editing :\

The fact is jagex where creating summoning on the release of runescape because in birds nests you always got those eggs, sailing could just be in develepment and all this bull shit about it is probaly making it harder for jagex to create and staying suprise. also there emblem didnt work because if you check one of the other vids he mentions that it only lasted a few mins. gf nerd

@xVIDZ4Ux The new skill was dungeoneering, not Summoning. Also, because someone says it lasted for a few mins in a video, it's not true and probably a lie. Checking your sources is important.

dude. are you seriously dumb?. don't u get they keep it hidden ffs. and when they update to a new skill or update ingame. it shows there for a couple mins. ive seen it myself. and how u know this is fake?. owners of fucking runescape havn't said its fake?. So wheres the ''proof'' that its fake...? But also wheres the proof that its gunna be next skill. @sweden900 The "owners of runescape" DID say it was fake. Also, this rumour is very old, and the new skill appeared to be Dungeoneering. Who is seriously dumb, me? No.

@RsAdventur3s Worthless? Hardly. It could be the largest skill ever released, in fact it would be. It would incorporate nearly every existing skill, it would create new land, sea monsters, new land monsters, minigames, quests ect...The problem with sailing is that it would be so huge it will take years for it to ever be completed. We probably wont be playing by then. Sailing wont be just steering a boat, and constructing one...

just to say this...people who said they saw it then it disapeared have to be lieing...whats the odds they just so happend to be messing with the url at the EXACT second that it whould work, then it disapeared so nobody could make sure. also many videos do that, whats the chance that all of them did that, or that since they did it at different times, whats the odds that it appeared for a second when they tried. USE YOUR BRAINS PEOPLE.

your wrong, the sailing symbol was up but they took it down completly, as in erased every mention of it from the system. of courses it wouldnt be there anymore it was deleted.

however we get to have hope the next skill is sailing.
