Love the ZX Spectrum computers. The best of the UK. Bought mine in 1986. The 80s would have been quite different without those computers / Greetings from Sweden

Gladiator was hardly a game to showcase the Speccy 128!

Apparently Sinclair sold all the rights for £5million to Amstrad who made more than that just on the stock mentioned in the video never mind the newer models.

I've never used a Sinclair machine in my life, I'm not sure how popular there were in Australia, I was too young to use computers in the 80's. How well did the Spectrum 128 do in the end? I know the 48k did well in the UK where they were made. The presenter seems to have a big issue with the lack of a joystick point on the 128, did the 48K have a joystick port?

@Lachlant1984 The original 128K version which was launched on 13.02.1986 in London was produced until some point in 1986 when Amstrad introduced the Sinclair 128K ZX Spectrum +2. Only about 90'000 units of the original 128K version were sold. The Spectrum range was also popular in continental Europe, not only in the UK and Ireland. All Spectrums produced under the wings of Sinclair Research did not have built in joystick ports, only those produced under the wings of Amstrad did.
