IN THIS VIDEO, watch as Jason Pearson takes the Super Shockwave Jet Truck down Oceana's Runway 23L for a dry run. To the best of my knowledge, this was the first time the Super Shockwave Jet Truck was at NAS Oceana, as the Shockwave Jet Truck is the usual jet vehicle that appears at Oceana. The Shockwave was actually partially destroyed in an accident at the Westover Airshow earlier in the month when one of its drag chutes did not deploy, causing it to careen to the side and tumble violently into the grass next to the runway at Westover ARB, MA. The driver, Kent Shockley, got out without a scratch, all thanks to the work of his father, Les, who built the cab as if it was a NASCAR race car. You can watch the Shockwave crash on YouTube, as I know of at least half a dozen different videos of it have been uploaded. I apologize for the poor video quality, as I was trying my best to get the best video under VERY WINDY conditions, which persisted through Saturday night.

Steve , thank you for thinking of me but I cant take full credit for driving , although I was Kents crew chief for shock wave during the MOD years and have also worked with Scott on the road with the super , Jeremy Fields is now driving the super shock wave .
