Union Rescue Mission

Bank of the West 2012 Community Impact Award Winner. Established in 1891, Union Rescue Mission is the oldest mission in Los Angeles bringing help and hope to men, women and children experiencing homelessness. By providing meals, shelter, health care, job training and other comprehensive emergency and long-term services, Union Rescue Mission is helping its guests escape the dangerous streets of Skid Row. Today, its one of the largest organizations of its kind, providing 1 million meals, 25,000 nights of shelter and 15,000 medical and legal sessions each year.
