This was shot by Tony Piazza of the Pass Christian Police. Once the roof blew off their police station, they took refuge in the library, which was built to withstand a Category 3 hurricane. The library, which sits about 300 yards from the Gulf of Mexico, is currently being used to house groups of volunteers that travel to Pass Christian to help clear debris and rebuild.
This footage was freely provided to several reconstruction volunteers including myself during a Feb. 2006 trip to Pass Christian.
