Green Lantern Casting

I decided to cast the characters of Green Lantern. Tell me what you think. Tell me if you think some one else would work better in one of the roles.

Sam Worthington as Hal Jordan: The man's cool and a good actor. He was great in TERMINATOR SALVATION and could also pull of Hal Jordan with flying colors. He also looks like him.

Anton Yelchin as Kyle Rayner. I liked Yelchin in TERMINATOR SALVATION and STAR TREK. He is a good young actor and could pull of Kyle.

Common as John Stewart: He was rumored for the role a while ago and I think would be good.

Adam Baldwin as Guy Gardner: He's great at playing the tough guy.

Michael Clarke Duncan as Kilowog: He's got the perfect physique and voice for the role.

Steve Carrel as G'nort: A great comedian should play the comedic character of G'nort.

Jack Black as Galius Zed: He was rumored to be in a Green Lantern parody that got cancelled. He just seems to fit for me and would be good in a comedic duo alongside Steve Carrel as G'nort.

Patrick Stewart as Abin Sur: Need I say much. He looks like him and has the perfect voice.

Christopher Eccleston: Can be dark and shady. He'd be great.

Michelle Monaghan: I had trouble casting this role, but feel she would work.

Warwick Davis as Ganthet: I know this may sound like sterotyping but he's the right size, but also has great acting ability.

Neal McDonough as Alan Scott: If the movie focuses on Hal Jordan, Alan Scott needs to be a bit older. Neal is a good actor and looks like Alan Scott.

Eliza Dushku as Jade: She's a good actress and could pull off the part.

These are terrible choices. Just because someone has the right "look" doesn't make them automatically right for the part.

Who would you use?

anton yelchin as kyle? he's a little young. in a movie kyle should start of at about 21 at the youngest. i think rider strong would make a better kyle. kyle should be younger than most of the members of the jla including wally be he shouldnt be a teenager.

Yelchin is 20 so he's about in that age range and by the time Kyle appears in a movie he'll probably be in his mid 20's.

I like Rider Strong, but he's 30, and I think a little too old for the role. But each to their own.

yeah u're right, but if it were right now rider has the right look where he doesnt look like a teenager but he still looks reallly young, he's like the perfect age for now.
