I'm not trying to refute her point, but I want to say that the judges choose the song for her to sing. If my hearing is correct, I think the song is in a lower key than the original, so she did try to put in more in her range, but lower would have been the beginning worse. Just saying that she tried.

She's pretty famous in the Philippines.. She has one album out now and is cutting a new one here soon.

I think the high notes sounded strained and slightly rough. She has a beautiful voice but should realise her vocal limits. The top three that year should have been Fantasia, J.Hud, and Latoya London-i think these three could rival any AI contestant EVER. The toughest year of AI too, but I was delighted with Fantasia's win. She was soo amazing! My top AI contestants ever:
1. Fantasia
2. Kelly
3. Carly (LOVE LOVE LOVE HER)
4. J.Hud
5.Latoya
