Palm Pre kills itself with its slider

This video shows my Palm Pre completely losing its life when sliding the keyboard open and closed.

i have a pre plus. and they changed that pretty well

hopefully you're not closing it like that all the time. just because you can utilize the way it closes, doesn't mean you have to abuse it that way!

The battery is loose.  Double-fold the black mylar pull strip so it wedges the battery in tighter and that will fix it.

you just have to touch the power button on the top right of the phone if it kills it lol it's not a problem, mine's did it before and i've only had it for a few days, just gotta tap the power button and it'll bring it all back, not a total phone reboot or shut down, dunno if this works for everyone but it does for my whole family's pre

My boyfriend and i both got this phone yesterday. His works fine but my was doing the same thing when sliding the phone closed. We took it to the sprint store here in town and they said that it's a known issue that very few of the phones have. They ordered me a new one on the spot. Still really like the phone.
