@celticfc735 he made us all well aware that he knew he was an overweight black man with diabetes, all of which can and do lead to early death. he was just so unique that, speaking for myself, i never imagined a time where i wouldn't listen to him talk for hours on the radio every few weeks. there's no reason why he shouldn't have died, but the idea that I desperately wish he was around for another 30 years is why it feels so fucking tragic

Love that man. Coming from Gary new duluth minnesota, he really made me realize that maybe even the biggest scariest looking Blackman is completely normal and has a momma and girl and decided to take on the responsibility of someone elses child.been going to comedy shows and saw him last year in Minneapolis. after show the full but small room emptied and he was just leaned on a railing alone and im so happy i approached and asked for a pic, he just treated me like a pal and shot the shit for ov

The only reason Patrice was so good..........He had a diffrent outlook on life, he made everyone laugh with a simple story, he made men view women differently, he made you look like an asshole when you didn't want to be, he..........you get it. I guess the Devil needed a jester or somethin...

Rest in peace Mr P from Belgrade, Serbia.
Damn Patrice! We all miss you so much already!!! This really choked me up and brought a tear to my eye. Thanks for all the laughs, the mornings taking third mike or just hanging with the boys. If they see this I want your mom, Von and your little girl to know how much you made all of us laugh, think, and look at the world a little differently. When I heard your episode of Mohr Stories, not knowing how bad it was, it made me appreciate even more how smart a cool of a dude you were. Love you!

its so fitting that he sung this song, like he some how knew. you shall be missed big man, we have lost one of the best voices of our time, those who know of you weep for the loss and laugh out loud from the joy you brought us.
