It took place in North Adams, MA at the west portal of the Hoosac Tunnel.

Hi,

Actually the tunnel is called Hoosac Tunnel, but the mountain range it is running through is called the Hoosic Mountain Range along with the river that runs aside the mountain. That too is called the Hoosic river. I don't understand the reason for the two spelling.

Please go on google and research this fact...it's the truth. It confused me at first, but hell that's just the way it is!

I am so glad you posted this comment.

It is dangerous and you NEED permission. We received permission before the shoot. I advise others to do the same. "CC The Huntress" is slated for national release.

All proper procedures were followed. We always abtain clearence for our productions and I again advise others to do the same.

The cave is located in North Adams and Florida, MA West portal in North Adams and East in Florida.

Please get permission first before you enter the tunnel. There is a stiff find if they catch you.

CC, GREAT JOB! I was there in 1999-saw a notation in the Road Atlas and found the east portal. I took lots of pictures...and have since researched this quite a bit. Is there a cave uo there somewhere close?

Access to the East Portal is a lot easier and accessible...I have been to the West Portal once many moons ago, but what I can tell you is that even though I was there just to take pictures, I felt that I was going to arrested for Tresspassing....

i went to school at north adams state, we used to go into the tunnel & the cave before the opening. you should check out the cave too!

I live near the general store on route 2 and i know exactly wat u mean about the hill and the river is the derrefield rivver
