Final Fantasy Versus 13 with English and Latin subtitles - FIRST RELEASE

This is our first release of the translation of the Latin lyrics of the song Somnus by Yoko Shimomura.

I would like to remember to everyone that the name of the song is Somnus -Nemuri- and not Somnus Nemoris as we thought before.

The second word is not Latin, but it's just the Japanese translation of the first word Somnus (Dream).

So it's not Somnus Nemoris (Dream of the Wood) but Somnus (Latin for Dream) and Nemuri (Japanese for Dream).

The second revised release of the translation is coming soon. We finally ound the song without the noise of the shootings and the thunders, so we can now attempt a perfect translation. Please keep in touch.

this is by far one of the better songs I've heard from from a final fantasy game which i might get trolled for saying this but i don't think there actually that many cept maybe for final boss themes but this song really portrays the mood of the trailer really well cant say that it does for the game but i have a feeling i wont be disappointed

The pronunciations that the singer uses are wrong.

"V" is pronounced like "W" in latin.

So when she says "Omnia Divit" it should sound like "Omnia diwit"

umm i take japanese and dream is not nemuri-thats sleep at best. nemasu- to sleep

nemri-sleepy and somnus from what i keep hearing is sleep also, not dream. dream in japanese is yume. dont sure for latin though

Nemuri means sleepy, not "dream." The word for dream is "yume."

Theres no such thing a "Somnus Nemoris"

Somnus means Sleep in latin. while NEMURI means Sleep in Japanese NOT dream.

the title is just pretty much "SOMNUS".= SLEEP . Somnus and Nemuri is NOT connected. Its just the translation. And its NOT DREAM either...Dream in japanese is YUME.
