  • These men are my Heroes and Role model for Asian-American who sevre this country. I am Filipino-Japanese and proud to serve this country from 96-2003 with the 25th Infantry Division Hawaii and Ist Infantry Division Fort Riley Kansas. Everything I admire and believe is all American. My loyalty is to the United States and I will defend it with all cost.

  • 442nd Infantry (Mostly/Majority was Japanese Americans, and some other of different Asian Descent)

    21 Medal of Honor

    Over 9,000 Purple Hearts

Most Decorated Unit in U.S. History, even to this date.

  • When is it coming out?

  • @quickzilver333 Gives one something to, be proud of, live up to; and, most important, PLEASE! Pass this legacy on to your children, and others, of the next generation..

  • @zipper179 They made a movie about the US Army Filipino Scouts but only shown in Asia. You can also see the documentary about them in you tube. As far as Japanese America soldiers (Nizie). Watch the movie "Only The Brave" it was an independent film and never made it to the theaters.

  • @quickzilver333 Then, by GOD, tell it! Put it out there! So much we don't know, and, at 66, I want to be around to learn more.. I am definitely not too old to learn. When I stop learning, it means that I am no longer alive..

  • @TheBreadCrumbs Who can beat that? This, as so much in history, should be more than passed on to our younger generation.. Dr ML King, Jr, once said that one should take time and learn from another culture.. Just as I post on FaceBook of the Tuskegee Airmen, I made a point of posting what I could on the 100th Infantry Battalion, and, the 442nd Regimental Combat Team.. Sad, they had to serve under a racist, like General Edward Almond..

  • @zipper179 There are alot of unsung heroes with different ethnic backgrounds. One particullar Heroes are the US ARMY Filipino Scouts of WWII. They are the US ARMY ELITE FORCE in the PACIFIC. They fought and died under the American Flag. One member recieved the US Military Congressional Medal of Honor.

Give me ten thousand Filipino Soldiers and I will counquer the whole world.

    -Gen. Douglas McArthur-

  • @quickzilver333 And, yours is a story we ALL need to know.. It either has never been told, or, not told enough.. Our young people, of all different backgrounds, should know of this..

  • @Wibbles20 yeah they had the spirit just like the japanese soldiers who fought the marines in the pacific, many japanese americans in the 442nd even wanted to be deployed into the pacific to fight the japanese.

  • @TheBreadCrumbs sounds as if this battalion fought like the japanese soldiers that they were descended from
