and to implement the plan to end America as we have known her for 230 years. Very soon everything will be owned and ran by the US government!! There will be nothing we can do!! Ever heard of an executive order. barry signed one last week out of the front of cameras which gave more of your tax money to foreign countries to fund abortions. Have you heard anything in the news about that?? didn't think so. We will wake up one morning and this will no longer be the USA, I hope I am wrong!

reliable, rright you are it was paulson the treasury sec. However heres where the republican party went wrong and I use the term republican loosely. Bush has done everything to try to be bipartisan by letting demoncrats be in positions of power and proposing laws in his cabinet. The demoncrats would never do that! Two he was going on the "intelligence that all the demoncrats were telling him, we have to act right now. Using fear the demoncrats used that opportunity to seize total power...

I think the bailout plan was actually proposed by Bush's Treasury Secretary.
And before that, it was the Federal Reserve that had been bailing out the banks.
It will be interesting to see what President Obama comes up with.
Let's hope Republican Senators can keep interference to a minimum when we're in the middle of a national crisis.
