Matt Cetin Full Scale Smoke Alarm Test ( Why Ionization Must Be Recalled!!)

You must decide if you want to subject your family to the dangerous "Ionization Alarm"!!!! Estimated 90-95% Recall Needed!!!!
If you dont know what type of alarm you have it is most likely an ionization because if it was a photo electric you would have had make a concious effort to get one and therefore know it was photo electric
I will Point out that just because it goes of everytime you cook or take a shower it probably means you have the dangerous ionization type
you can see that the combination alarm goes off in the middle is not what you want!!!! It could also go off last!!!! Also note I have a paramedic buddy not the guy in the video who says you could die of carbon monoxide poisoning before the ionization alarm goes off at an hour !!! If you have a family member who dies in a house "protected' by an Ionization alarm. Please Remember To Sue you can say they did not disclose in the ionization alarm directions Texas A & M has documented that It has a 56% failure rate in a room full of smoke and 20 % failure for flaming fire while the photo electric type has a low failure rate of only 4% for both smoldering and flaming fires please check out taylormartino.com and note that they say it is "Defectively Designed" The Ionization Alarm. The ionization alarm was also used in a court case on March 25 2008 Where the U.S. Court of Appeals For the second circuit ruling was that it was Defectively Designed and a "Legal Cause" of fire deaths. The Nfpa Chairman of the First home fire detection code it recommending it as a banned and or recall product (and also that the people be reimbursed for buying them!!!) because of the over 400,000 deaths and injuries resulting from the defective ionization alarm. But I guess in the absense of a ban and or recall the next best thing would be to mandate photo electric only
