A fine demonstration; I understand why you used the word "stall" instead of "flare" to make things comprehensible for the average citizens and near-wuffos in attendance. Keep up the goodwill ambassador work.

How about running up a short ramp so you get a little higher? at 2:41 the guy says "to slow down and stop, that is what we call STALL". Uh...no it's not...that is what we call FLARING. More than an important difference in terminology as FLARING is controllable(towards smooth landing) and a STALL is not. A stall is the technical result of a flare at correct height and speed...but it is NOT the means to get there. FLARING is.

she said "you don't actually have to push/carry the glider up the hill, the wind carries it for you". HA!!!! MAYBE!!!. You BETTER be ready to carry that glider! Wind often gives little help on uphill carries! Unless you can afford to rent a SHERPA...be VERY ready to lug that glider...IT IS PART OF LEARNING. Nice WHEN the wind Does help.

You could conserve your leg energy better if the guy behind you helped hold the glider back until YOU are ready to begin your run. I see you leaning and straining and the guy behind you is just standing there. How long and what diameter bungee? With someone helping draw and hold tension, you could use a stronger bungee (:
