@Dubanx always thought having two wheels spinning in opposite directions would sort this.. although it would need a double clutch on the linking gears :P

@Dubanx yeah sorry my mistake. looking at the video again it is only when it moves. still needs to sort it though, it would eventually destroy the robot before it gets to the opponent!

@acer0169 The reason it starts jumping around like that is because of gyroscopic effects. Basically, weird effects start to happen when you give something a high angular velocity "spin really fast". Notice how it only starts spinning around when he tries to move or turn the robot but it's perfectly stable while holding still.

blenderhead has something off centre or something because each time it spins up it can't stay flat and starts jumping around.
